Our Nourishing Beauty Wash will assist you in achieving beautiful, more youthful-looking skin since it contains additional nourishment from essential nutrients including Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, and Cocoa Butter.
Directions: Apply soap to a sponge, wash cloth or directly onto wet skin. Work into a rich lather while massaging. Repeat then rinse with warm water. Use daily for best results.
Some of the Benefits of black soap
- Helps deep clean skin.
- Works on most skin types including rough and dry or sensitive skin
- Helps clear skin bumps and spots
- Helps relieve acne, oily skin & other skin problems.
- Great for removing makeup
- Works against premature facial lines and wrinkles
- Can be lathered and used as a shampoo.
After rubbing the soap bar between your hands (or on a washcloth, if you want), rub your soap-covered hands on your skin and hair. (Hair will stick to the bar if you rub it against your head.) Black soap readily absorbs water, therefore avoid letting it stay in water as it will disintegrate. Since homemade soap is softer than commercial soap, it comes off the bar with less effort, requiring less rubbing to release sufficient soap.
How to Store: African Black Soap Pure traditional African black soap has a very high glycerin content and is a soft milled soap. It thus rapidly takes in moisture from the environment. It must be kept dry or in a sealed plastic bag to prevent it from absorbing moisture and turning soft. Please be aware that Black Soap will have a thin layer of a white tint when exposed to the air. This coating is not mold; rather, it is the result of airborne water absorption. By storing the soap in a dry area away from moisture until it is time to use it, this can be prevented.

I tried the OKAY Pure Naturals African Black Soap and it works well as a gentle daily cleanser. It has a natural, earthy scent and doesn't dry out my skin. I like that it’s made with natural ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil. It lathers nicely and rinses off clean. Good for both face and body.
